Terms of Use
Last updated October 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Holladay Kitchen Co. website. By using the site or submitting a request through it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Informational use only
The guides, articles, figures and other content on this site are general information about kitchen remodeling planning. They are not professional, engineering, legal, financial or tax advice, and they don't replace advice from a licensed contractor, structural engineer, attorney, lender or your local building department about your specific home. Codes, permit rules and costs change, so confirm anything that matters to your project with the appropriate professional or agency.
Holladay Kitchen Co. is not a contractor
Holladay Kitchen Co. is a kitchen remodeling planning resource and matching service. We are not a licensed contractor, and we don't perform design, demolition, construction, plumbing, electrical or any other remodeling work. When you submit a request, we may share it with an independent local kitchen remodeling professional who can respond to you.
Agreements are between you and the professional
The kitchen remodeling professional you're connected with is an independent business, not an employee, agent or partner of Holladay Kitchen Co. Any estimate, design, contract, payment, warranty or other agreement is made directly between you and that professional. Holladay Kitchen Co. is not a party to it and is not responsible for the professional's work, conduct, licensing, insurance, pricing or performance.
No guarantees
Submitting a request does not guarantee that a professional will be available, will contact you, will take on your project, or will offer any particular price, timeline, design or result. We don't guarantee the outcome of any remodeling project.
Verify before you hire
You are responsible for choosing whom to hire. Before signing anything, we encourage you to:
- Confirm the contractor's license through the Utah Division of Professional Licensing Licensee Lookup & Verification System.
- Ask for current certificates of insurance, including liability coverage. Utah's Division of Consumer Protection notes that contractors in Utah are required to obtain a license and liability insurance.
- Get a written contract that covers scope, price, payment schedule, start and completion dates, permits, change orders and warranties. The FTC's "Hiring a Contractor" guide lists what a contract should include.
Third-party links and sources
The site links to and cites outside sources, including government agencies, standards organizations and research publishers. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. Figures from third parties are attributed to them and are not Holladay Kitchen Co. pricing or results.
Images
Kitchen images on this site are illustrative. They do not show specific completed projects or the work of any particular professional.
Your submissions
When you submit a form, you agree that the information is accurate and that you're authorized to provide it, and you consent to it being shared as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't submit anything unlawful, misleading or on someone else's behalf without their permission.

The text, design and graphics on this site belong to Holladay Kitchen Co. or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy or republish site content in bulk without permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Holladay Kitchen Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its content, or any work, agreement, payment or dispute between you and a remodeling professional or other third party. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent allowed by law.
